HIS eyes lifted from the dirty and torn pages of his notebook. he had no idea why it was so dirty in the first place, but he had to admit that he had dropped it once or twice in the dirty while exploring the outer perimeter of the wall. looking for flaws or any details that could expose them to enemies. looking up at Andrea his lips curved into a smile, GLANCING down at the cracked watch around his wrist.

“ Yeah, I’m free to back you up. did you ask Rick if we could go out?

When he smiled, she smiled back. It wasn’t really like her to show signs
of kindness or happiness anymore, but she felt like she needed  to.  He
needed it. She hadn’t forgotten about how he was still here, the reason
he had made it back to the group alive  –  beth’s  sacrifice.  She  knew
that there was probably not a day that went by  where  he  didn’t  think
about her or what she did for him to be alive. It pained Andrea to  think
about losing the light that had been Beth Greene. Now  that  light  was
dim & she wasn’t sure it would ever come back for him.

❝ Yeah, Rick gave the all okay. We’re good. We should probably head
out in a few minutes, I don’t want us being out when it gets dark. ❞
