“It’s not as bad as it looks,” the minuscule voice of the blonde whispered, the radiating pan from the purple abrasions beneath her pale hue making it difficult for her to speak. Beth didn’t like this. She didn’t want to seem W E A K. Even more, she didn’t want to be the coddled for her injuries. There was no time for that, not when she was old enough to take care of herself. It was her fault after all, she shouldn’t have lowered her gun thinking the stranger was actually trustworthy. She had F A I T H in a lost humanity– tonight, that was her downfall. “It’ll be better in a few days,” she managed, hissing through her teeth as the warm cloth soothed over her wounded eye. “Thank ‘ya for bein’ there. Don’t think it’d be jus’ a busted eye if ‘ya weren’t there.”
eyebrows rose intently as she tended to the young girl’s wounds. she’d
been here before - nursing the wound that had scarred her enormously.
beth was far from weak, she’d made a bad decision & was now living
with the consequences of letting her guard down - a blossoming bruise.
andrea sat back as beth uttered her final words, she pondered for a bit.
❝ Just try & remember to never let your guard down.
You can’t afford to do that anymore. ❞
a brief smile before she jumps up from her chair. she cleans up the room
before hovering over beth. studying her, she realises that when she had
been beth’s age, she had been happily fishing in her father’s boat. it was
horrific to her that beth greene’s teenage years had been cut so short.
some of andrea’s best memories were from those years. she cherished
them dearly when the days got rough.

❝ Now, come on. I’ll cook you something to eat at
my place. You’ll need it to get your energy back. ❞
